At approximately 3:30 CST on Thursday, engineers switched most of the remaining Dish Network channels to the new Nagravision G3 encryption leaving thousands of FTA pirates in the dark. Only a handful of channels (240-248) remain and they will be cut off shortly. There are lots of rumors throughout the community that Nagravision G3 is already, or very close to being compromised. Those are nothing more than rumors at this time as none of the Korean big boys have proven any progress on defeating the new encryption. They will surely be working hard on the problem as their long time cash cow just came to a screeching halt.
